Complete with 16-foot ceilings and an imposing staircase, the massive house commands respect. And unless you happen to be close friends with the governor, visitors may only see the first floor in a free guided tour.

I called the phone number listed to make reservations for a tour in Jan 2003. It appears they only offer tours in the Spring, but the website doesn't list that information.
