Supposed to be able to cancel but as other reader said have to move away (almost out of state). We keep getting extra charges on our account and nobody knows what they are for but we are not being refunded our money. RIP-OFF! Do not join. Make sure you cancel (get it in writing) before time is up because they will scam you out of more money for the same amount of time you initially joined for. No one will return calls and customer service does not care because they are getting paid whether you are happy or not.......

This is an okay gym with 24/7 access, personal trainers, and a nearby parking lot, but it has one major weakness: its integrity. I have discovered (through my own experiences and talking to others) that they will lie to your face about their gym's contract. I was signed up by the store manager, and he personally told me that I could cancel my account at any time. This is true, but there is a stipulation: you must move at least thirty (30) miles from your current location and fifty (50) from any Peak Fitness location. If you do not qualify under these terms, you MAY NOT cancel your account. Hope you enjoy paying a gym you now hate a minimum of $880, because you are stuck there for two (2) years. And don't forget to turn your auto-renew off, because if you do and your two (2) years roll around, you will be automatically renewed for another two (2) year agreement. I think the worst thing about all this is that the employees are encouraged to lie to customers about the contract details (at least at one location where a friend of mine once worked).
Pros: Nice downtown location, Nice atmosphere
Cons: Bad management, Bad Contracts
