I used to frequent them more when it was Sal's Birdland, but this place has moved to the same spot as the now defunct Uncle Frenchy's to focus on Jamaican food. There's no place to sit although there are plans to renovate the next room over as a dining room. For fast Jamaican takeout, it's a good value and tastes fine, especially the jerked chicken, jerked chicken wings, and chicken curry, although you will have to ask for it very spicy. Sometimes the cabbage and carrots and rice & peas are overcooked since they have been sitting around too long. The other items are hit-and-miss; depends on when they were cooked. It's a family-run business, the people are friendly, remember your face, and are willing to accomodate food requests so it's worth returning.
Pros: Quick Jamaican food, friendly folks
Cons: Takeout only
