Editorial Review for Red Dragon Chinese Restaurant – by Fred Benton
In Short
The small, nicely appointed interior is devoid of the typical Chinese restaurant kitsch. The pot stickers, in contrast, are excellent. The boneless duck entree should be prized by duck-lovers for its crispy skin. The duck's brown sauce is heaven on a plate: slightly sweet, with laudable depth. It's no different here, but with excellent crispy veggies and a tasty sauce.

Insider Tips
Where To SitThe open interior doesn't lend itself to intimacy. If you want a romantic dinner, reserve the restaurant's corner booth. Reservations are accepted later in the evening (about 8:30pm).
ParkingThere is off-street parking exclusively for Red Dragon in a small lot located to the immediate left of the restaurant. On-street parking can be a hassle during peak service hours.

My husband and I have been going to Red Dragon for at least 8 years and have always loved it. The food is good Americanized Chinese. If you're looking for authentic style, this isn't it. We love that it's small and quiet. We have always had polite and fast service. Over the years, the portions seem to have gotten a little smaller. We used to always have enough leftovers for lunch, but now we finish our food or have just a small bit left, unless we have big appetizers. I agree that it is not really suited for children, unless they are the type who stay seated quietly at the table for the duration of a meal. The small size makes noisy people of any age a nuisance to the other patrons.
Pros: Good food, quiet and intimate
Cons: Hard to find, limited seating and parking

First time going to Red Dragon, we will go back. The food was very well prepared. I had chicken with broccoli. I asked for it spicy, our waiter took the time to explain the two sauces that have that would be spicy. I went with his recommendation, spicy brown sauce. Great time! Place is small, you may have a wait.
