Editorial Review for Margaux's Restaurant – by Kelly Ferguson
In Short
Ignore the strip-mall setting; inside, this elegant restaurant comes to life. Large, eclectic sculptures and dark-wood dividers break up the cavernous space. With a large aquarium providing the backdrop, servers buzz around, tending to details that complete the fine-dining experience. While the menu is built on seafood and steaks, eclectic ingredients and an international bevy of spices raise the bar.

I've been eating at Margaux for at least ten years and I keep coming back. I can honestly say I've never had a bad- or even average meal. My wife and I ate there tonight and as I sat back after the delicious Roast chicken and calamari I declared I had a "food buzz". The food is just that good. The host and staff are sophisticated. The decor urban and artsy. But the food is devine. My only complaint is that I wish there were more French wines on the extensive wine list, but I understand that their selection is based on their patrons' wishes. My favorite dishes are their seafood entrees. By the way- the menu is different every night (aside from a few staples) I also love that they serve duck, lamb and other interesting choices.
Pros: Varied menu, exotic dishes

I have dinned at Margaux probably 15 times and each was an adventure in great food, great atmosphere, and excellent service. If there is one thing you can absolutely count on at Margaux, it's that you won't be disappointed when you go there. It's such a treat to be able to pick a new dish from the ever evolving menu and know that you will be pleasantly surprised at the twists on tradition the chef has created for the meal. If its an evening out with friends for drinks, a quiet business lunch or a romantic meal your looking for, Margaux is the place to go.
Pros: Staff, food, atmosphere, location, variety
Cons: none
