Go here like every single week. I always order it to go on the phone ahead of time. I drive like a good 25 min. to get there because I love their pizza, however last week and I asked how many slices did an extra large come with because I usually order a large, but I had my nieces and nephews this night so I needed a few extra slices. The young lady I was speaking with told me that th New York Pizze came with 12 slices, I said "''Cool" and thats what I ordered. When I got home, we found the pizza only had 8 pieces. I immediately called back and advised them of the problem. They said it was a mistake, the pizza I ordered does only come with 8 pieces, they told me wrong on the phone. She said when I came back I could get 5 dollars off, I was fine with that. However, the owner was not. I ordered an extra large pizza tonight and reminded of the coupon on the phone. When I got there the owner which was a heavy italian female asked me in a very rude manner why her employee gave me a discount, I told her, she was very upset. I couldnt understand why because they also have 3 dollar coupons on line! And why be upset over 5 dollars to a regular customer. When I left I called in a very courteous manner and asked for the manager-owner, she got on the phone, I told her that I was bothered by her acting so ugly, she said she was gonna hang up on me, I asked why and told her I was a customer just expecting better service, she actually starting being very rude and obnoxious, I eventually called her an ugly name after really trying to be the bigger person. I am the customer and found myself being more courteous in my position than she, I will not return! Also I work at a big school, I will be advising others of this terrible service, we will go else where!

Pros: Very Bad Owner- Manager, Veerrry Bad Attitude!

Cons: Good Food

My wife wanted pizza for lunch, and we had not tried Cinelli's yet, so we stopped in. Most of the prices were way too high, including the drinks -- $2.25 for a soda is ridiculous. For that reason, my wife and I split a Philly Cheese steak, and my kids (2 and 4) had pizza. My wife ordered a soda, but I asked for a glass of ice and brought in my own can of soda. They did not like that, and the manager explained that they do not allow food or drink from outside the restaurant. I apologized and said I would not do that again. However, we were then snubbed by the waitress, who only looked at us to bring us our food and our bill. I left no tip because we were ignored. The manager was incensed at this, and proceeded to berate us and our "screaming kids!" This is not the service I have come to expect in Raleigh; there are plenty of restaurants with better food, prices, and service.

Pros: the food was ready surprisingly quickly

Cons: inexcusably rude management

I’ve worked, and eaten at Cinelli’s for nearly 4 years! I love working there, I can never seem to leave. Most of these comments are bogus! Anywhere you go to eat, you will find positive and negative comments, pick any restaurant and read the comments. As far as the negative comments about the food, I’m sure you all are the ones that complain about the food after you’ve already eaten the WHOLE dish! You are just a cheap, waste of a table space, con! If you’re going to be so critical eat at your own house. Every restaurant has their own interpretation on what a dish should taste like, don’t expect it to be exactly how you like it, and don’t come in expected to take this and that out and add this and that…it’s not going to happen. Oh and don’t even think about bitching about how you’re charged for all the changes. As for the staff if we are soo rude, ”trashy”, and incompetent why do we always have a wait on Friday/Saturday nights? We can’t be that bad..As far as the owner and his wife are concerned, they are two of the best people I’ve ever worked for! They are kind, generous, and understanding! They have always been there for me and anyone else I’ve worked there with. **This is especially dedicated to youwillgetit…who the hell are you?Sounds like you are sorry excuse for anything.I believe that it’s immature and rude; to post such a BS comment on citysearch…do you have a life?I think that maybe you should be in school somewhere learning how to spell! You spelled 5 words wrong in a paragraph, you must be one dumb chick. She gets female employees fired are you crazy? There are only 3 male employees that work there, as opposed to the 14 female employees. Her husband does not hate anyone except maybe you! I think you are taking your depression about having NO ONE in your life out on others. Please get over yourself & move on

Pros: Food,Owners,staff

Cons: sometimes we give losers a chance, and they screw us!

For the past five years I have been working for the Cinelli family. The Cinelli's have become my second family. I am apalled with the comments made previously about the owner and his wife. She is not only my boss but has become a very close friend. She is very concerned about the staff that come to work for her. She works very hard to train knowledgeable and friendly servers, while her husband trains the cooks, making every dish served authentic. Not only is the care of the employees a top priority, but the care of every customer that walks through her doors, making them part of the Cinelli family. The food is authentic, as the owner grew up in Italy, and the food portions are extremly large for the money spent. I would highly recomend Cinelli's to anyone. Whether you are out on a date or taking your large party out to dinner. And the servers working there are not "trash". The trash left when Brianna was fired. So please stop writing these false accusations, Brianna, you've been gone for over three years. Enough is enough.

Pros: Food portion, extensive menu options, great service, excellent ownership!

If you want a place to go where its friendly, up beat, and just all around a great atmosphere Cinellis' is the place to go! The working staff has great chemistry and the management is wonderful. Problems happen like every other restaurant, but they make up for their mistakes. The owners are very involved and always know whats going on with their business. The Cinellis are great people, and a run a great restaurant. Reading a previous remark from 3108 sounds to me its a just a disgruntle ex employee who has not got over losing her job and you can tell she is still very upset about it. And by the way I know Mrs. Cinelli personally and all of her staff comes to her for advice, problems, and she is always there for them!

Pros: great food and friendley staff

Cons: sometimes a ling wait to eat ..but worht it

We used a restaurant dot com coupon as an excuse to try some new food in the Cary/Raleigh area. Overall we were not impressed at all. The food quality was ok but the prices are high end for this environment and service. We felt more like we were in a college sandwich shop but at the prices - we knew we weren't! : $19.50 for veal piccatta w/ a small salad, $18 for fettucini alredo with small salad and chicken, $6 tiny kids raviloi plus $1.50 for the drink (who doesn't give the kids a break to get mom/dad to come in!?) and $8 for a pepperoni pizza roll with peppers and onions..... we made it to $60.48 for me, the wife a 15 and a 4year old. Whew! Using the rest dot com certificate mandates an 18% gratuity. Service was friendly but drinks went empty, frequent requests had to be made for napkins, etc. For out first visit - not impressed. $60 to us means Outback, Oive Garden, TGIFriday's, etc. On a good note, the sweet tea was great!

Pros: Quant place, casual very informal atmosphere,

Cons: Cramped seating, noisy, slow service/drink refills, pricey for what you get. Kids menu way overpriced!

Food is very good. Howver the service has really gone down hill. Wife ordered a beer but was not given a glass for 15 minutes. Eating here has become very expensive. We had "Grandmas Pizza" with two toppings. My bill was $36. (Just for a pizza). Each topping was $4.50. The cost might have been described on the menu, but I could not find it. Think I'll go back to the Olive Garden where I get a good meal for the money. They don't seem to be interesrted in good service anymore.

arrived at 12:30pm on a saturday to an empty restaurant. A shy waitress took our order and brought us rolls that were actually pretty good. for lunch, we had pizza slices and salads. the pizza seemed to be new york style and the salads were pretty generous. however, my bill reflected a $1.50 charge for mozzarella cheese on a $3.00 salad and a $1.00 for pepperoni on two slices of pizza. i complained about the cheese to my waitress but she made no concession. yes, i can afford $1.50 but i wont be going back.

Great variety of real italian food. Everything tastes homemade and wonderful. I reccomend the marinara sauce. The portion sizes are HUGE. You'll definitly have enough left over for lunch the next day.

Pros: food!, little to no wait for table...
