I'm amazed this place is still in business! I have a degree in Fashion Merchandising and was a buyer for 15 years (ladies sportswear) and I have never found anything worth buying in this shop! Also, the owner must think her customers are not very savy ~ because anyone that shops in the Raleigh boutiques knows that this store is $15-$20 higher than everyone else in town! (same designers as other stores) I figured this out right away! You can't fool the customer! Also, let's figure out who your customer really is? You can't be all things to all people! Very confusing store.

Only a phone call away from Richmond if I need a special outfit or just something to scoot around town with. Lisa , the owner, and Pam , her right hand woman, can always find just the right thing for any occasion. Lisa has the right mix of clothes, style and personality to make this a shop first venue! Great news that she has also opened a shoe store nearby!!!
Pros: light , friendly, no pressure atmosphere
Cons: not enough occasions to buy for

I was so excited to see that a store of Scout and Molly's caliber had opened in Chapel Hill. After living in a Houston (great shopping!), I was looking for a place to add some variety to my usual work wardrobe in NC. The clothes are fun and stylish. They are pricier, but in line with other boutiques. The sales rack is terrific--I've found some great deals (50-75% off). Most importantly, the service is wonderful--helpful but unobtrusive, knowledgable, and definitely NOT snobby. The owner, Jessica, is one the nicest people you'll meet.
Pros: SERVICE, QUALITY, PARKING
Cons: Store hours

OK, I can't afford to shop here regularly, but their SALE RACK is unbelievable. I bought a $140 pair of AG jeans for $35 (well, I bought two pairs for that price). This is a fun store to look around in and there are some great fashions to be found. But its designer prices make it a "special ocassions" or "window shopping" venue most of the time.
Pros: Stylish clothes, Great sale rack, Friendly service
Cons: Prices, Limited # sizes

Superdippityroo!! My partner and I always find what we are looking for in this cute little definition of New York in a city of, well, not New York. Whether going out for a night on the town to one of the LEGENDary night clubs in the Raleigh area or enjoying a cocktail at a friends house, this shoppe has it all. We'll be back again and again....and again!
Pros: Service, Satisfaction, Choice
Cons: Music, Hard to find

Girls and fellow fashionistas...This is the place for us! Not only does Scout & Molly's have the cutest clothes on the planet, but the owner is the sweetest girl around! Unlike other women's stores (in the Raleigh area), where the salesgirls are unhelpful and snotty, Scout and Molly's is the only place you can go and feel welcome. The threads carried there are tailored for all shapes and sizes, not just size 2's! Also, Scout and Molly's is centered around you, the client, and the owner goes out of her way to help you find what you need. She carries the best lines, including Paper Denim Cloth, Trina Turk, Herve Chapelier, and Balboa! So drop by Scout and Molly's for a breath of fresh air and an instant shot of style!
Pros: Customer Service, Selection, Taste

Lisa has put together the best little boutique in Raleigh. This woman has style & she has the merchandise to back it up. The store is very quaint -- you feel like you're in someone's home. When you leave, you feel like you've purchased something extraordinary -- the packaging is beautiful! You won't see yourself all over town with her merchandise. A package from Scout & Molly's is truly unique & special.
Pros: One-of-a Kind items, Quality merchandise, Variety

A shop with great clothes, an uptown atmosphere and friendly sales associates without attitudes- finally a Raleigh boutique achieves all of these! Definitely worth the trek from my downtown Ral. home for great Trina Turk, Nanette Lapore and Paper Denim Cloth jeans. All they need are some more handbags- Herve bags are cute but all over town these days.
Pros: Friendly staff, Great fashion sense
Cons: Hard to find, (but worth the hunt!)
