Pad Thai is pretty good- but if you've ever been to an awesome thai restaurant like- Thai Taste in Charlotte- this does not compare at all! thai rolls are gross and the peanut sauces are off. we also got salads-- i didn't know you could mess up ginger dressing-- overall- it's decent, but i'm sure they may have better things on their menu than we happened to order. i will say i'm really picky about asian food-- b/c i'm allergic to MSG's-- and had no allergic reactions with anything I ate-- i may go again-- but will try something different.

my wife and i arrived for basketball and food.we couldn't sit at the bar because it was packed with employees who would not move.they just sat there, smoked and watched the game. we sat in the empty restaurant.we ordered food and since we couldn't watch basketball we decided on to go food.after a very lengthy wait we were informed we couldnt get late night menu to go..when we told the manager it wasnt on the menu he was a jerk..we paid ($65)and left .got home, ate, and the food was average at best amking the experience complete.COMPLETELY AWFUL!
Cons: management, employees, food

I've tried this place twice and both times found the food totally lacking. Last time I decided to try a Thai dish and ordered the Pad Thai. First off the dish had no traditional heat. I couldn't pick up a hint of a pepper! Second, the expected peanut sauce had no taste of peanut. Terrible! The first visit I ordered my favorite and usual dish when trying out a Chinese Restaurant...General Tso's chicken. The breading on the chicken was gooey and seemed as though it had been cooked much earlier and left to soften and again the sauce had no heat.

The food is great! I've eaten a lot of Chinese food in my life, and Cody's is one of the best that I've ever had. There's a variety of different dishes that are both exciting and tastey, especially those from their Thai selection. They also have karaoke! My friends and I have a great time drinking and singing on Saturday nights. Cody's is a fun place with good food; I highly recommend it .
Pros: Thai food, karaoke

Sure the foods a little expensive, and it can usually use a little more spice, it's still pretty damned good. But it's the atmosphere and friendly staff more than make up for it. These days "service with a smile" is so rare that the service at Cody's is more than refreshing-- it's service with a wink and a smile. What more could you ask for?
Pros: hot bartender, fun, karaoke
Cons: needs more spice, pricey (but good!)

Treat yourself to the Ginger Lamb - you won't regret it. Cody's also has some of the best Fried Rice in town (hold the veggies, in my opinion (they add zucchini/chunks are too big)). Great lunch value.

Let me begin by saying what a beautiful restaurant Cody's Bistro is. The ambience and atmosphere of Cody's was incredibly romantic. Not only was the restaurant beautiful, but so was the food. The presentation of the food is top notch. The food was great. I loved it at Cody's and will be visiting there again very soon. What a great experience - try the Cody's Beef, Szechuan Fish, Chicken Lettuce Wraps, Chicken and Leek Dumplings, and anything on their traditional menu!

The first clue should have been that on a Thursday night there were no other customers. We had the dumplings and pork bun appetizers, they were very chewy, hard to even cut open. They were not good. The Wonton soup tasted a little fishy and the fried rice had a strange flavor to it. How can you mess up fried rice? I was not impressed with the food and will not be visiting there again.
