Best pizza in town. Seriously. (Okay, if you like thin New York style, which I do.) But if you're looking for a place to sit during lunch, either get there before 11:30 or after 1:00. During that hour and a half, the line is typically out the door. The last time my coworkers and I got there, we were in a line down the sidewalk to get in and order. So we called in an order to go, which was ready in 15 minutes, and ate back at the office. Still delicious.
Pros: Great pizza
Cons: Always crowded during lunch

I went in for two slices on tuesday, and the slices were so good and so big, today is Thursday and I took my picky husband and kids in and they loved it. My husband said he will go back.

Randy's is by far the best place for pizza we have found in the triangle. Don't confuse this Randy's with the rest of the ones in Durham. This one has the same name but is independent of the others....and much better. -The pasta dishes are good and the homemade sauce is amazing, it has a real sweet kick to it. -The slices are huge and they pile on the toppings. -The best thing there to me are the garlic knots. They are soft and garlic butter is great. -The hot sandwiches are made fresh and also good. A few tips: If you get pizza by the slice it is very thin. If you order a pizza to go it's thicker. What I do is ask for a 16 inch pizza with 14 inch dough and it comes out nice and thin. Be sure to call ahead for lunch if you're getting a big order, the line is out the door at lunch time.
Pros: Staff and owner are very friendly
Cons: Garlic knots are not good for me, but I can't stop eating them.

I'm no casual fan of pizza; so when I heard about a place that served up real New York style pizza, I was skeptical. I've been disappointed too many times. But I'm here to tell you; this is the real deal. Paper thin, foldable, chewy crust? Check! Not too much sauce? Check! Good cheese, well seasoned, fresh toppings? Check, check and check! I was so impressed, I had to see who was behind the opeartion. I saw a man that seemed to be in charge. He was a flurry of activity, but seemed to be really enjoying his work. I introduced myself and found out his name was David, and that he was one of the owners. It's always great when the owners take a 'hands on' role in an establishment like this. He took time out from his obviously busy work day to talk to me and explain what made his joint special. I could see the obvious pride he took in his place. My lunch was 2 huge slices of pizza (so big they need 3 paper plates arranged to hold it!) and a fountain drink - a little over $6. Such a deal! If you work in RTP, love pizza and haven't tried this place - don't walk, run. It's a small place, with about 6 tables that seat 4 or 5, so maybe not the best place to eat in if you have a big group.
Pros: Excellent New York style pizza
Cons: Not open on weekends

Easily the best pizza in the Raleigh area. Very crowded during lunch hours but tables turn over quickly and we never have to wait too long for a seat. We probably eat here for lunch twice a week, the specials on the board are usually worth checking out too. The sweet tea is great.
Pros: Best Pizza in Town
Cons: seat yourself can take a few minutes for a spot

Great pizza and service -- that says it all. Only wish they had a bit more seating (the downside to being so popular).
Pros: Great Pizza and Service
Cons: Wish there were a bit more seating.

I work in the RTP area and have been a regular at Randy's for a little over two years now, and I can't say enough about them. The pizza and subs are delicious and the place has a style all its' own. The employees are fantastic and witty. Go experience Randy's, you won't regret it!

In the way that bread is an important part of a sandwich, the crust of of a pizza is very important to me. I love the fresh, doughy, clean and natural taste of the crust from Randy's on Miami. Where I (and a lot of others) usually discard crusty part of the pizza with no sauce on it, I keep snacking on this crust and love it. They've got enough selection that if you're interested in something besides pizza or ordering for a group that needs pizza plus something else, they've got subs, calzones, manicotti, etc. All are quite good, especially for the prices they charge. The staff is straightforward especially during their very busy, high volume lunch, but come back a few times and they'll get to know your name, how you like your pizza and be able to make special accomodations outside of the peak lunch hours to get you what you want, just how you like it..
Pros: Pizza superior to dominos, papa johns; Non pizza selections very good, too
Cons: Very busy lunch -- know what you want and be patient with getting it.

I tried the place for lunch. The food was ok, no complaints. The place is too chaotic to have a sit down meal there. You get assembly line ordering (no questions allowed) and assembly line service. It's a volume operation. Very loud at lunch and you'll likely have trouble finding a seat.
Pros: Pizza by the slice comes out farily quickly.
Cons: Assembly line atmosphere.

I am an Sicilian from Pittsburgh, and I HATE HATE HATE Pizza chain Pizza. I just moved closer to Durham and was upset that my only choices were Dominos and Papa Johns. Fed up with crappy pizza I started my search and as if the gods were smiling on me I found Randy's Pizza on Miami Blvd. From the very moment I put the first bite into my mouth I knew the Dominos and Papa Johns phone numbers could be ripped up. the sauce is simple, and tomato tasting, and not like the sugar induced crap at the chain stores. The crust is hand tossed and has the PERFECT texture and taste, and I can tell it was cooked in a real pizza oven. Thanks Randy
Pros: Sauce, Service, Delivery
Cons: Hours of operation
