I recently went to Color Salon and Day Spa and loved the experience. My stylist, Jenny, was amazing. She was able to educate me on how to style my hair and offered great advice on what would work best for me. I love the look and feel like I can style my hair with the tips she provided. The salon was great too. They had lots of different services to chose from, I will be returning for my hair and more.

Referred to Color Salon and Day Spa by a neighbor, and they met my expectations and more!! I had my nails done by Tarisa and she did an amazing pedicure! I could have sat in her chair for another hour. I then had my hair colored and cut by Alisha. I'm so glad I found her. She helped refresh what had been done before and gave me a new style that is so easy to manage. Thank you Alisha and Tarisa, and thank you Color Salon and Day Spa!

I have been searchng for a while for a salon in the area with a great atmosphere and I've finally found it at Color! The receptionist was warm and friendly, and my stylist, Joanna, gave me exactly what I was wanting! I felt at home in the salon. I definitely recommend Color to anyone who wants professional and friendly service.

I went in to get my hair cut and get some highlights. My stylist, Andrea, was sooooooooo nice. She helped me pick out a style and color that didn't look too young or tacky. She even taught me more efficient ways to use a flat iron!!! I would definitely return and recommend her to all of my friends. We may even schedule a girls' night for one of the classes they offer on hair styling. It was also very clean, and I was happy to accept the water they offered.

Pros: friendly staff, movie star service

Expensive cuts at Hair Cuttery quality. Also very dirty for a place claiming to be a "salon." Finger nail clippings, filthy windows. The stylist asked if I wanted any water. Like heck I would drink anything from there. Receptionist was super rude and acted like I wasn't standing there. There are better salons that cost less.

Cons: dirty, expensive, zombie staff

I recently booked a one hour facial with Color. It was one of the most relaxing facials I've had in a long time! Paula, the esthetician, was very professional, knowledgeable and personable. She makes you feel very relaxed with her nice demeanor and wonderful massage techniques. I felt my stress just melt away! I look forward to my next appointment. Thank you Paula!

Haircuts are a very personal thing so it is difficult to review a salon. The salon itself is in a new shopping center and looks nice and modern inside. Always very clean, they have their magazines nice and straight, the guy at the front desk usually offers you something to drink, etc. I called them up because they were so close to my home and explained that I have very fine straight hair that is in need of an update. They matched me up with a young stylist that they thought would do well. I had not had a hair cut in a long time, the first cut was pretty good since she took off a lot of length and weight. However, I felt pressured upon checkout to make another appointment in 6 weeks. I returned 2 or 3 more times to the same stylist, and she continued to cut my hair in the same way and snip a little here and there. It got to the point where after leaving the salon, it felt like I didn't really have a hair cut at all. I didn't know what I was paying $40 plus a tip for every visit. She also started recommending all these products to me and again there was always the pressure to make another appointment. And of course she'd make hints about how I should get some highlights. My overall impression was that they just wanted to make as much money off me as possible with very little effort. It could have just been my particular stylist though. I'm looking for a new salon.

Pros: clean, modern looking salon in good location

Cons: pressure to make appts, buy products and other services

I recently had my hair cut & colored by Andrea at Color. I actually live in San Francisco, but was in North Carolina & seriously needed hair help! It was my first time at Color and I have to say the atmosphere immediately put me at ease. It was the most professional and soothing environment, and I have to say, it took the cake over any salon I've been to in San Francisco. The service was amazing, and my hair looked better than it had in years. Andrea knew exactly what would suit me and I appreciate her expertise. I'm trying to plan out my next trip to NC to coincide with getting my hair done again, it was that good! Thanks!

Pros: Knowledgable staff, soothing environment

Cons: None except that it's in North Carolina and I live in San Francisco :)

I had and appointment with Andrea at the Color Salon and Day Spa on Saturday, July 7, 2007. First, I want to tell you that I had so much fun talking to her she is a really sweet person and I felt as if I had known her forever and we had only just met. . Second, you will not believe the reaction I am getting from everyone. The people at work could not believe it was me, one guy said he had to look twice because he thought he had a new employee. But absolutely everyone that I work with when they walked threw the door was floored, they loved it. It was so much fun to see their reactions. The people at my kids daycare loved it as well and they all want to know where I had it done. I told them Color Salon and Day Spa and they all said they were going to get there's done there as well. I have lived in the NY area all my life and I have never had someone cut and color my hair so good. I would Highly Recommended this salon.

Got the best haircut I've had in the Triangle so far, but the appointment before mine ran over by almost an hour. To their credit, they offered me a free service to make up for the wait. The cut was a little pricier than I expected, but I liked the end result and the trendy feel of the space. I also appreciated the follow up call from my stylist. This place definitely seems like it would be more fun with a friend - it almost felt too quiet. Would love to read reviews on their nail services - please share if you've experienced one of these.
