My partner and I have been doing business with CPS for over two years and we have had a wonderful experience. As a matter of fact, we have had nothing but great service from the owner and other employees. We use Eagle Pack dog food, the bulk dog bones, and other treats that we buy almost weekly. We also buy cat food and ferret food from CPS. The employees know what I come in for and load my feed bags in my trunk. The price on the bulk bones is great and you can fill your bags how ever you like. We have 10 dogs so it nice to get a variety of flavors and sizes. I enjoy and believe in supporting "the Little Man" but will not do so if quality and great customer service are not present. Carolina Pet Supply has it all!!!! Thanks CPS!

My nickname is peace and I'm 10 years old. I got a baby male ball python from there and he is perfect!!!! I dont know why some people say bad things about this store. There is one person there that even taught me about snake genetics and now I'm waiting for them to get another female ball in!! But they have way more than snakes they also have rabbits, hamsters, spiders, guinea pigs, fish and lizzards!!!!!!!! I highly recomend this store for anyone!!

Pros: Everyone there helped me find what I needed, they where very nice.

Cons: NONE!

Between my boyfriend and I, we have two hamsters, two tarantulas and three cats. One of the tarantulas we got elsewhere for about $70 (This includes spider, tank, filler soil, crickets, and waterdish.) It was a Costa Rican Stripe Knee which is a very docile common breed for spiders in captivity. However we went to Carolina Pet Supply found a much more advanced captive breed the Cobalt Blue Tarantula. This spider is rather aggressive and most retailers in general wont carry exotic pets like spiders and definitely those that would, wouldn't carry this bred. We got this spider ling and setup in wonderful condition for $50. They also had a Brazilian Black and white we had our eyes on... :) I got both my hamsters here and am very pleased with them. They have deals all the time. I got my home for my hamsters and got one of the hamsters free. At Petsmart hamsters start at 10.99 here they are all 7.99 and free with a purchase of a cage or home. Their prices are unbeatable and they are so friendly and knowledgeable. They have a wide range of everything. From the traditional cat and dog supply to fish fresh and salt alike, reptiles, spiders, birds, hamsters, gerbils, rabbits, ferrets and much more. I've read the other reviews especially the negative ones...they are completely untrue. The worst thing I can say about the place is when it's closing time they like to go home right away just like every other person who has had a long day at work. I'd much rather take that one little con over things at Petsmart like clueless employees, basic supplies at outrageous prices, and no variety. Carolina Pet Supply may not have the square footage of Petsmart but they are wonderfully clean and helpful. I don't go anywhere else.

Pros: great specials, variety and good quality, helpful and nice employees, exotic pet collector paradise

Cons: know what you want or where it is near close time otherwise you will get shooed if you are "just looking"

I love this place, they are so friendly when I go in, and very helpful when I have questions. I travel about 30 minutes to get to this pet store, just for their service. I would recommend you go and check it out.

Pros: friendly staff, good products

Cons: none!

I was losing a fish every 2-3 days while maintaining perfect water parameters, nobody could tell me what the problem was except Carolina Pet Supply. They advised adding an airstone which solved everything! They are by far the most knowledgeable freshwater fish people I've found. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. Every newbie fishkeeper could save themselves alot of money and frustration by buying there. They've earned my trust with the fish, and that's the first place I'll go if and when I add more pets.

I did live in garner, and have done tons of bussiness. In no way is this a bad store. Some one in that store is a pro in what you need. They know everything dogs, cats, REPTILES, fresh and salt water fish. And TRUST me not just anybody knows reptiles.. I still have family up that way and everytime we go up there we go to this store. I live in Wilmington and go to Garner to get a box of 1000 crickets. they beat intrnet prices. really. I have two bearded dragons that I have got from that store. Both are healthy and were healthy when purchased. This store beats Petco, Petsmart, Pets+ By leaps and bounds do your self a favor and go here for your pet supplys. tell the bearded dragon lady I said hello... lol

Pros: great prices, costomer service, and great pets and items for the pets...

Cons: I wish they had more space but they have tons in the store.... not small though

It's pretty simple. I placed an order and paid for it in full. The delivery charge was about 1/2 of the total and included an insurance. The order has never been delivered to me, but the company refused to fully reimburse my money. And this is after making me trace the package and constantly call the post office and Carolina Pet's Supply. Two weeks of nightmare, and, finally, I'm out of 1/2 of my money receiving nothing in return. I'd never ever suggest this company to anyone. A completely dishonest and shameless business.

Pros: H-mm. Didn't have a chance to notice any...

Cons: "Grab money and run" type of business

This is obviously a family owned business; service is helpful and friendly, and the quality of the products is very high. During the pet food recall, we decided to switch to a safer, hopefully highly nutritious wet food for our dog. We found Merrick. At a cost of just under $2.00 a can, it's a pricey alternative, but read the ingredients and you'll see why it's worth switching. It doesn't take much to make the kibbles go down and feel as though you're really treating the dog as you would want to be treated. We often joke that if there came a natural disaster, we'd just eat the Merrick dog food right alongside our dog Dinah! I haven't compared prices elsewhere because it's worth it to me to support a local business with friendly owners. Give it a try!
