I go to Eve's Hair Gallery in Columbia, Maryland. Evelyn, the owner, has been my stylist for 10 years and I love her! Recently, I started taking my four year old daughter with me; she gets her hair braided while I get mine styled. Eve's Hair Gallery is an inspiring and friendly atmosphere. My daughter and I look forward to our special time together at Eve's - we both leave the salon looking fantastic and feeling great. I recommend Eve's Hair Gallery to all my friends. Evelyn is a wizard with highlights; I feel 10 years younger after getting up from her chair every time. And (knock on wood), I have yet to have a bad haircut from Evelyn - not only do I like how she styles my hair, but I usually get positive comments from my friends and coworkers when I get a new style from her. More importantly, my husband gives a 'thumb up' to my new hairdos that Evelyn tries out on me (I trust her creativity because I have none when it comes to the latest hairstyles). I hope others will give Eve's Hair Gallery a try. They offer the newest trends in hair styles and color for women, men, and children. Not only are they in a great location (with plenty of parking and in a shopping area with restaurants, a coffee shop, and a nail salon), but they are also open six days a week; they are closed on Mondays. Try out Eve's Hair Gallery this week and tell them you read about Tammi's (and her daughter's) experience -- a truly satisfied customer.

Pros: Evelyn rocks on highlights; friendly atmosphere for women, men, and children; stylish hair cuts

Cons: Closed on Monday (but open the other six days of the week)

This was my second trip to Who Does Your Hair for a haircut by Kathy Bailey. The first trip was okay, she trimmed and highlighted my hair and informed me that haircuts were $30. I wasn't thrilled with the highlights (two very large stripes across the front) but the haircut was good. I made another appointment before I left. The second time I went (4 1/2 weeks later) was a disaster. I told her the haircut was good that I just needed a little trim to shape it back up. I left with what can only be described as a man's flat top haircut. My hair was about two inches in the back and 1/2 inch on the top and sides. Now to be fair, I have had a short haircut for awhile, but I have thinner hair on top and I wear it in a messy style that is several inches long. There was nothing that could be done with what I was left with. You can clearly see my scalp on top. Midway through I told her I thought it looked too short. She continued to cut. When she was finished she charged me $38 instead of $30, even though it required no hairdryer or styling whatsoever. As soon as she could see I was unhappy she was finished with me. She didn't offer to book another appointment she just led me out and greeted her next customer. Never said bye or anything. I would never see her again. The salon itself was clean and quiet, but I wouldn't recommend Kathy Bailey to my worst enemy. Disastrous haircut, worst I've had in years.

Cons: Worst haircut I've had in years.

I really like the way Traci P. does my hair. She does just what I ask for everytime. I enjoy talking to her about her kids and her new husband. She and the girl's there are really friendly and do a great job. I highly recommend this place.

Pros: great with colors

Cons: need more available Saturday's

I had the best experience this past week I got a new look to make me feel renewed for the fall. You know when you feel bad and blah and want to snap out of it well you can at the Best Salon I have ever been to my stylist was Lori and it was awsome i felt like a new person. I walked in blah and out HERE I AM , Mom's can be hot and I am now that I took time for myself. I also found out they (the salon ) are friends with a girl that has just opened up a Facial Spa in Wake Forest. How wonderful to have information on other ways I can Pamper My Self ... thinking about my christmas gift. I know that have a new website I will call Lori and find out, I think the Facial place has website also, I will post as soon as I find out. To all mom's out there Lori said that we can't give to others sometimes if we don't give to ourselves, she was right, my husband said what a change he saw in me, in every way if you feel better about yourself it's a win win situation and I feel like a more hip mom.

Pros: Peaceful, Relaxing, The Best Shampoo

I went to eve's hair gallery! It's a very friendly and welcoming place! and everyone there has so many different talents. I got a sew in weave put it and it was the best , Ive had some done and it still looked fake , but the young lady over ther Judith, she hooked me up! the salon is also very clean, and I just felt at home there!. the do everything natural, weaves dreads, cornrows,waxing,and so much more. if your in columbia u should check it out. the address is 8865 stanford blvd Columbia md, 21045. the # 410-290-1404

Pros: everything was great and theirs plenty of parking.

I love going here. Janet Freeman is my stylist. She is just great. I love the atmosphere, it is very relaxing. Janet does a great job with my highlights and my haircut. I have been to several salons in Raleigh, was not that impressed with them and I found this one and I love it. Would recommend them to anyone.

Pros: The stylist are great, the atmoshphere is great.

I started going to Michelle Allen last year, and I've been so pleased with the results! I went to Michelle with a problem - I had asked my previous stylist to "do something different", and she had cut in some bangs that were way, WAY too short. I found Who Does Your Hair on Citysearch and set up an appointment with Michelle. When I met with her, I told her about my frustrations, and she was able to give me a cut that worked the hacked-off, uneven bangs into the rest of my style. The next time I went in, my bangs had grown a little and she sent me home happy again. She also gave me some beautiful, very natural-looking highlights. Now my bangs are all grown out and I love what Michelle has been able to do with my hair. It looks great if I style it - and great if I just blow-dry and go! And my color continues to be just what I wanted - light and bright, but natural. Michelle is very easy to talk to and down to earth - no pretentiousness or nonsense in this salon. Just a great stylist who knows what she's doing. Highly recommended!

Michelle is the best stylist ever! I have been trying to find a stylist who can work with my busy schedule and do a great job. And on top of all that be affordable! Michelle makes you feel very comfortable and talks at great length with you about what you want done before she does it. She does wonderful highlights as well. The atomsphere is very calm and soothing.

Pros: Friendly and knowledgeable staff

Cons: None!

I have been having my hair done at Who Does Your Hair since I was 11 years old......12 years!!! Ruth does my hair and not only is she the greatest stylist around, but also a wonderful friend. Ruth does beautiful highlights. I have naturally curly hair and I will not let anyone touch it but Ruth!!! I highly reccomend this salon, if you cannot get Ruth to cut your hair, all the girls working there do excellent work and are wonderful people.

Pros: Prices are extremely resonable; calm and quiet!

Michelle at "Who Does Your Hair" is not only a good person, but she is an EXCELLENT stylist. I have always left feeling extremely happy with my haircut/highlights and almost have had car accidents while looking at myself in the rearview mirror on the way home! :-) She prides herself on keeping up-to-date on the latest color trends and cuts. She also has a knack for eyebrow waxing. You will not be dissapointed with Michelle Allen at "Who Does Your Hair". She will take care of you!
