We went here on a Sat afternoon hoping for good dim sum since the city search posting said they had it. Well we walked in right at noon and the place was empty. Apparently they haven't had dim sum in a couple years but like many of the ratings on this site it hasn't been updated. We ordered appetizers expecting the worse since you expect at least a few customers at lunch on a weekend especially when right next to an oriental grocery store. we were surpised at the good quality and originality of the food. the peanuts with little tiny fish were amazing and everything including fried dumplings were made fresh. Definetly recommend this place. It is still a bit dingy but i will definitly be going back. this was oh so close to 5 stars.
Pros: really authentic chinese food and many unusual dishes you won't find elsewhere
Cons: place is a bit grubby

I love americanized chinese food. General Tso, Sesame Chicken, and Sweet & Sour pork. While most reviews say the authentic chinese food is great, as are the dishes mentioned. Great food, high quality meat, as opposed to other Chinese restaurants in the triangle. A++, best Chinese restaruant in the triangle. Does not allow lo mein substitution for rice, small disappointment.
Pros: Quality, Service
Cons: No subs, Portions

if you're tired of the typical "chinese" food and you want to try something more authentic, then definitely come here! i recommend asking for the sweet and sour fish, which isnt on the menu. excellent! also, the stirfried spinach, which was yummy, but not really worth the price. also very good is their calamari. mmm...

If you want REAL Chinese cuisine, try this place... BUT don't order the typical so called "Chinese" food. Try something authentic... like the steamed fish (COD/Chilean Bass), eggplant with garlic sauce, mapoor tofu (bean curd with spicy sauce), fried pork chops (it's not like the southern fried thing), etc... The food is excellent and authentic! You know the food has got to be GOOD cuz a lot of the Asian population in this area frequent this establishment.
Pros: great selections, fresh ingredients, friendly staff
Cons: not romantic
