I visited this store while shopping for my wedding gown. I found the exact same style gown at Diamonds for double the price of another boutique where I ended up buying the gown. My gown was a limited version from Private Label By G. Anna at the store denied that it was a Private Label gown - she insisted that it was custom made for her store - an obvious fabrication since I communicated with Private Label about the gown and bought it with a Private Label label at the other store. I found Anna to be rude and condescending and not at all concerned with delivering quality customer service - NOT TO MENTION THE OUTRAGEOUS Prices! My guess is that the store posted all these positive reviews below themselves. Anna also represents Duke's Tailors - another huge rip-off, don;t bring your wedding gown there! See the review I posted for the horrible, incompetent service I received there (I didn't realize the 2 stores (diamonds and duke's) were connected until it was too late! LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE!!
Pros: none
Cons: horribly over-priced, double-priced gowns, rip-offs of designers, incredibly RUDE service

Correction to the previous post -- "are we talking about the same place...": Diamond's Bridal charges a "try-on" fee for anyone who has not already ordered attire from there. For example, if you bought your wedding dress from Diamonds, and your bridesmaids come in and want to try on bridesmaids dresses, there is no charge. Vice versa, if your bridesmaids all ordered from there and then you, as the Bride, would like to try on wedding dresses, then there is no charge. However, if you are a Bride and no one in your wedding party has ordered from Diamonds yet, you may be charged. Likewise, if any of your bridesmaids want to try on dresses there and noone in the wedding party has ordered, then your bridesmaids will be charged. If this is not the case in your situation, then luckily, they were able to bend the rules for you. I wanted to make sure to clarify so that people have proper expectations.
Pros: Cheap prices
Cons: Rude Customer Service, Bridal Dress Experience ruined

While I did not purchase my wedding dress at Diamond's my mother, sister, and bridesmaids have purchased their dresses here and it's been a positive experience. My bridesmaids and I went to bridal mart in Burlington and found the dresses they wanted. I went to Diamond's with my mom to show them to her and low and behold, they were cheaper at Diamond's. I was truly surprised they were less expensive there than at an outlet. I also tried on wedding dresses and while I didn't find "the one" I did think Anna and William provided great customer service. To the person who found the store to be dusty and having a $10 "try-on" charge.... are you sure you're talking about the same place? We've been in twice to try on wedding gowns and twice to try on Mother of the bride and a dress for my sister and haven't been asked to pay a fee. You do need an appointment though.

I wanted to make a comment about the woman that brought her daughter, with (2) two children in a stroller with out an appointment and said that she saw the sign that said no strollers or children but decided to come in anyway, and she did not see on their web site appointments only. Well, their web site clearly states appointments "ONLY" Soooo as Jeff Foxworthy would say, "There's your sign." The reason I am writing this is that I had read this and realized the stupidity. So I made an appointment and met two of the nicest people in the world that are helping me with my wedding. I am sure that there was just a misunderstanding or someone was just having a bad day. I feel sure if they had made an appointment with no children it would have been different.
Pros: Great service, listens to you

I live over an hour away from Diamond's but was in Raleigh all day last Saturday with my maid of honor from out of state who was in town. I made an appt. with Diamond's earlier that week. I arrived 10 minutes prior to my appointment to find a sign on the door saying they are closed until Tuesday because they are "at the show". There was another woman waiting outside saying she wasn't told anything about this either. Needless to say I was extremely disappointed and floored that they would do this without contacting me. When I set the appt I was asked for my name and phone # so they could have easily picked up the phone to call me. I'm glad this happened now rather than later if I were to purchase a gown there. Terrible customer service!!!
Pros: nothing
Cons: everything

A friend recommended Diamond's Bridal Boutique for my daughter's Debutante Dress. I called the store, gave them several styles that I was interested in and the owner said she would get back with me the very same day. She did and I made an appt for later in the week. When we got there, she had exactly what we were looking for already pulled and waiting for us to try on. We found the sales clerk to be very friendly toward my teenage daughter, helpful, suggestful, but not pushy. We were given advice on fabrics, different options and the estimated costs, and ways to save $$$. Of all the bridal stores that we have visited, this one was actually trying to save us $$$ and understood this was not a bridal gown, but a debutante dress for a special and memorable night. We found the store to be clean and fresh and we did not have to wait a long time. My daughter came away happy and she commented that the customer service was excellent. So far, my experience with Diamond's has been positive and when our dress comes in Sept, we are hoping to continue with a positive outcome.

I very strongly and highly recommend Diamond's Bridal Couture to all who are seeking wedding gowns and bridal apparel. The minute I entered Diamond's Bridal Couture, a receptionist introduced her, she made herself 100% available to me. I gave her pictures that I had gotten from the internet on the Maggie Sottero, and she serviced me to her fullest, even getting me gowns that were not on my list. As a matter of fact, because one of the gowns that I really loved was not in stock, she checked stock for me from the corporate warehouse and got me my size. I loved it. Diamond's Bridal Couture is very clean, beautiful settings. There were plenty of styles to choose from. She helped me pick out my veil and tiara, offering knowedgable advice on how the beading of the dress matched the beading in my veil and tiara. I must say that my experience with Diamond's Bridal Couture has been a spectacular one. I recommend Diamond's Bridal Couture.
Pros: location, service, parking

I went to Diamond Bridal to try on a bridemaid dress as the maid of honor for a wedding. They were one of two stores in town that carry Alfred Angelo so I gave it a shot. I called ahead of time to make an appointment and they said I didn't need one. As I went into the store I noticed how small and dusty/dirty it looked and got a bad feeling. I asked to try on a dress and the lady sent me looking for it on my own. She then took a dress out of my hand to give to another bride that was "serious" about purchasing that day. I was stunned. I took the dress back and asked to try it on. They told me that they had a $10.00 "try on" charge and asked me for my debit card. I thought I had heard them wrong, but they were SERIOUS! I tried the dress on and noticed that the zipper was broken. The woman who was helping me offered to hold the dress closed and hurried me along as I looked in the mirror. I couldn't believe I was paying for this! I got married 2 years ago and have never heard of anything like it! I also needed to get my measurements and they asked for an additional $10.00 for that. I replied "This is getting expensive, and I called ahead, shouldn't you mention this to your customers before they make the trip out here?" The lady said she was sorry. They decided to measure me for free but still charged the $10.00 to try the dress on. They also tried to drive the price of shipping up! It was horrible!!! Try Maggi Bridal, they gave me a good deal and they also carry Alfred Angelo...Diamond Bridal amazes me that they are still in business! They are crooks!
Pros: None
Cons: Rude, dirty/small store, bad service, tons of extra hidden charges!

I went to Diamond's last year for a bridesmaid dress because they were close to my house and carried the designer line I was looking for. It started out an OK experience, nothing special, but the shop owner was extremely pushy and made inappropriate comments about my weight (Im average sized -12). She told me my measurements were between sizes and that I needed to order up, which put me in "plus size" so I got the $40 upcharge. Then, when the dress came in, it was WAY too big, so she charged me to alter it back down to the right size. So basically I spent an extra $100 on a dress that was reasonably priced to start out with all because they wanted to charge me for alterations. Now that I'm getting married myself, I have no intention of setting foot in this store. And I wouldnt believe most of the good reviews on this site, I think they're being posted by the owners as decoys. Notice how they all mention parking? What actual bride cares that much about parking at a shop. We're looking for good service, which this place decidedly does NOT have.
Pros: Carries a decent selection but you can find it elsewhere
Cons: customer service is nonexistent, shady extra fees

This bridal boutique has a rude owner who makes inappropriate comments about bridemaid's measurements and making reference to how to lose weight. For someone running a business as a bridal consultant of a boutique needs to take the measurements from the girls and quit making inappropriate comments. I will definitely discourage anyone from going here. This should be a happy and exciting moment for the bride and her attendants. The bride should not have to deal with this nonsense.
